Portraits that honor your connection: During portraits, I’ll guide gently if needed–but never to perform, only to help you settle into each other. My priority is making space for whatever feels true to you. Whether you’re laughing, tearing up, or simply holding hands, I’ll be there–not to direct, but to witness and document the way it unfolds naturally.
The full story, not just the highlights: From quiet getting-ready moments to the last song on the dance floor, I’ll be there to document the whole arc of your day. My standard coverage is 10 hours, so you can stay present, knowing nothing important is being missed.
Real moments over perfect performances: I won’t ask you to redo anything or pose unnaturally. I believe it’s not my job to interfere–it’s my job to observe. What’s unfolding in front of me is already meaningful, and that’s what I’m here to preserve.

Perfect for most wedding days
This collection includes all-day coverage, engagement session, a second photographer, timeline planning, rehearsal dinner coverage, and a beautiful heirloom album. Everything you need for a full, vibrant record of your entire wedding weekend.
A non-refundable retainer (30% of your total investment) is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding date. I’ll go over all the details during our initial consultation so everything is clear and straightforward.
What does payment look like?
I photograph most weddings solo and am confident documenting everything myself, even with a full guest list. That said, if your timeline or logistics would benefit from having a second perspective–like if you’re getting ready in different locations or want lots of coverage during cocktail hour–I can absolutely bring on a second photographer and have great colleagues I love to work with. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for your day.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Backing up your images is something I take seriously. I shoot your images to multiple cards in camera on the wedding day. Immediately after your wedding, I back everything up in multiple places–on external hard drives and secure cloud storage. I never delete your memory cards until I’ve confirmed that every image is safely stored. I also keep your final edited gallery online for at least a year, so you have plenty of time to download and back it up on your end too.
What's your backup process?
Yes! Engagement sessions are included with all wedding packages because I truly believe they help us connect and you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. If you’re looking for a standalone engagement session, I also offer those separately <3
Do you offer engagement sessions?
You’ll receive sneak peeks within 3 days so you can relive the magic right away. Your full gallery will be ready within 10 weeks, delivered through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and even order prints.
When will we get our photos?
The final number depends on multiple factors: the length of coverage you decided on, the flow of your day, how much "stuff" is actually happening on your wedding day. As an average, you can expect 50+ images per hour of coverage, but I focus on delivering a complete, thoughtful gallery rather than a specific number.
How many images will we receive?

I take a primarily documentary/photojournalistic approach–staying present, paying attention, and capturing things as they unfold. I’ll step in with support or direction when needed (family photos, portraits, etc.), but otherwise I’m there to witness and preserve the real moments of your day, not to stage them.
That said, I’m not just lurking in the background. I’ll laugh with your friends, joke with your parents, and dance along with you if the vibe calls for it. I consider it a huge honor to be invited into such a personal space, and the most meaningful images often come when I’m welcomed into that inner circle.
What's your approach on the wedding day?
My style is rooted in observation, not orchestration. During portraits, I can give you a bit of guidance if it helps you feel comfortable, but I’m never going to force stiff poses. The rest of the day, I step back and observe while staying close enough to really see what’s happening. I’m not directing the flow of your day–I’m tuning into it. By being present and welcomed into the energy of the day, I’m able to capture images that feel honest, intimate, and real.

No worries–that’s exactly what I’m here for. We’ll talk through your timeline, priorities, and vision for the day and I’ll help you figure out the right amount of coverage to ensure nothing feels rushed or missing. Most couples book 8-10 hours to capture everything from getting ready to the dance floor.
What if we're not sure how much coverage we need?
I will show up wherever I'm invited :) I’m based in the south metro of MN but love to travel! Travel costs are included for anywhere within 2 hours driving distance of Minneapolis–beyond that, we’ll customize a travel plan that works for where you're at.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I still have a select few remaining dates for 2025 open from October-December. If you’re interested in working together, reach out so we can see if your date is available!

I’ve heard this from many couples, and honestly, it’s not something I want you to stress about. During your engagement session, it usually takes just a few minutes to settle in. On your wedding day, there’s so much happening that you’ll likely forget the camera is even there. I’ll step in with guidance when it’s helpful, but my goal is for you to feel present with each other—not like you’re performing—so the photos reflect you, not a version of you trying to pose.
